COCKPIT DASHBOARD

Client Brief

A well-established conglomerate with over 40-years of reputation, spanning the construction, manufacturing, product sales, and facility management sectors.
Headquartered in Oman, the company has expanded its operations to the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates over the years.

Project Scope

In response to the challenge of managing seven distinct entities within the large entity, the leadership team faced a reliance on periodic sales calls and meetings for updates on each business's performance. They lacked real-time visibility into critical business metrics and forecasts, necessary for prompt decision-making. The preparation for these leadership meetings required each team to invest a week's worth of manual effort in gathering data from various touchpoints and reports.
To address this issue, we embarked on a project to develop a consolidated dashboard using data derived from multiple SAP reports. This dashboard provides top management with the ability to gain insights into the overall performance of the holding company while also enabling them to drill down into specific companies and processes for a more detailed analysis - all in real time.

Project Outcome
  • Improved Decision-Making: The implementation of the consolidated dashboard enabled leadership to make better and more timely decisions based on real-time visibility into key business metrics and forecasts.
  • Enhanced Operational Efficiency: The dashboard streamlined data collection and analysis processes, resulting in increased operational efficiency. Teams no longer needed to spend excessive time manually gathering information.
  • Faster Response to Issues: The dashboard facilitated quick identification of underperforming entities or processes, allowing for prompt intervention and corrective actions. This led to faster responses to issues and challenges.
  • Cost Reduction: By streamlining data collection and analysis processes, the company reduced operational costs associated with labor and time spent on manual reporting.
  • Increased Accountability: The dashboard fostered a culture of accountability as it provided transparency into the performance of each entity. Team members and managers could clearly see the results of their actions and make necessary adjustments.
  • Data-Driven Culture: The implementation of the dashboard promoted a data-driven culture within the organization, encouraging management and employees to use data for decision-making and continuous improvement.
